The development and validation of an automated grading tool using robotic process automation (RPA) for SQL queries saves faculty time and allows for more accurate grading. This enhances the accuracy of grading but also allows faculty to reallocate their time toward other important academic responsibilities, such as curriculum development, research and student engagement.

The SQL RPA Grader tool’s design facilitates broad adoption, even among those with no prior experience in bot building. We provide you with detailed instructions and the necessary code, making implementation easy. The tool’s ability to correctly evaluate a wide range of student-submitted SQL queries further underscores its value, demonstrating the potential to support diverse problem-solving approaches and enhance the learning experience. Overall, the RPA Grader represents a practical solution to the challenges of grading efficiency and accuracy, promising to significantly improve faculty productivity and student assessment outcomes.
