Generative AI is reshaping every facet of business, causing great need for ethical leadership. This case helps equip students with the critical thinking skills and ethical frameworks necessary to navigate the ethical business complexities introduced by generative AI. This four-part case introduces students to the ethical challenges presented by generative AI. Specifically, students are introduced to the United Nation’s 10 core principles focused on generative AI from a human rights perspective. Based on what they learn in Parts one and two of this case, students draft a generative AI policy and then draft their own personal generative AI ethics statement.
