This one-credit* AI course is part of the broader EYARC GenAI curriculum pathway and is grounded in the EYARC GenAI-enhanced professionalism framework (Framework), which serves as the foundation for the course design. Organized across the Framework’s core competencies including understanding GenAI, using tools effectively, evaluating inputs and outputs, applying AI responsibly and ethically, enhancing professional skills, and applying AI in practice, the course provides a structured progression of learning aligned to real-world expectations.

Designed as a complete one-credit syllabus, the course includes sequenced modules with video instruction, applied assignments, and supporting reading materials. Students develop the ability to not only use AI tools, but to evaluate and apply them with sound judgment, professional skepticism, and ethical awareness.

Universities may adopt this course as a complete Canvas-based offering or remix and customize assignments and delivery to fit their curriculum and teaching approach. Introductory and teaching videos are included throughout, and faculty may choose to use the provided content or create their own. As with all EYARC materials, we ask that you leave the EYARC branding intact.
