This project is designed for a course focused on the application of emerging technologies — specifically generative AI (GenAI) — within the accounting domain. The primary goal is for students to conceive, design and prototype a GenAI-enhanced solution that addresses a specific need or challenge in the accounting profession. The final deliverable may take various forms, such as an automated tool, a refined workflow or a decision support feature.

The project is intentionally open ended. Students must identify a problem or opportunity in accounting and creatively leverage GenAI tools to implement a prototype solution. This project emphasizes learning by doing — students gain hands-on experience with GenAI, deepen their understanding of emerging technologies, and showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills within the accounting context.
